Adaptive Live Streaming

Developed a live streaming model in JavaScript. Implemented Real-Time Messaging Protocol (RTMP), a traditional TCP-based streaming protocol, for faster transportation of streaming data to media server. Enhanced user experience by providing adaptive bitrate streaming (ABS) for playback. Promoted cooperation and inspired confidence of others as a team leader.

Sleepy Watch

Designed and implemented a digital watch system in Java. Used Object-Oriented Process with Traceability, a SW development process based on RUP. Increased understanding of SW development life cycle by covering SW development process from requirement analysis to testing. Collaborated with a software quality assurance outside the team for testing and evaluation.

Statistical Analysis of Data

Analysed raw data regarding life jackets for vessels using Microsoft Excel. Used paired comparison, ANOVA, correlation analysis and regression analysis. Developed modelling skills through statistical hypothesis testing.
